Features block

What is the Features block for?

Show a few equal-weight benefits in a format people can understand at a glance. The Features block arranges 3–6 short ideas into a clear system. Use it for features, benefits, service points or concise decision criteria.

If the items are standalone content, long descriptions or steps in a story, another block will usually fit better.

Example: three benefits, kept simple

Short title, concrete consequence, equal visual weight.

Easy to scan

Visitors can understand the three most important benefits at a glance.

Concrete

The description does not repeat the title; it explains what the point means for the visitor.

Equal weight

The cards stay on the same level, so a main benefit is not mixed with a minor detail.

Example: more room for each point

With two columns, every item gets more space.

More explanation

A larger cell can hold a longer description while still remaining easy to scan.

Internal navigation

Items can lead to a more detailed page or the next relevant section.

Visual cue

An icon or image can give each point more character and faster recognition.

Flexible rhythm

Cell style and layout can be adjusted to match the visual character of the page.

Example: icons and links

Icons give quick visual cues, while links can take visitors to the details. Three items below point to other Help Center articles.

Three to six items is a good starting point. If you have many more features, group them first. The grid's job is quick orientation, so keep the items similar in detail and visual weight.

What can you configure in the Features block?

Alongside the content, you control the rhythm of the whole grid and the presentation of each cell.

Visual

Choose Compact or Card image. Compact is quieter; Card image makes each item feel more independent.

Columns

Choose Auto, 2, 3, 4 or 5 columns based on content length and the density you want.

Cell layout

Use vertical or horizontal layout to control the relationship between visual and text.

Cell style

Choose plain, bordered or filled cells for different levels of visual emphasis.

Image and aspect ratio

Add images to items and choose landscape, standard, square or portrait proportions.

Link

Each item can lead to its own destination or next section when there is a genuine continuation.

SHOW THE ESSENTIALS

A few well-chosen points say more than an endless feature list.

Keep the items equal in weight, choose a grid rhythm that fits them, and link only when there is a real continuation.
