Manage contact form messages

Where can you find messages sent through the website?

Every enquiry in one place, even if an email notification is delayed. When someone submits a contact form on your website, the message is saved. Open Settings → Content → Messages to see them all, newest first.

Each row shows when the message arrived, who sent it (name, email and phone when provided), the subject or company, and the page it came from. The source page can help you understand which pages are generating enquiries.

Open a message

Use Open on a row to see the full message and every submitted field: name, email, phone, company, subject, message text and source page. On multilingual sites, you can also see which language version the visitor used. You decide which fields appear on the form in the Contact form block settings.

Reply from your own email client using the sender's email address.

You can also receive email notifications. Add a notification address under Settings → Website → Contact and each new message is also sent there. If you leave it blank, no notification email is sent, but submissions are still saved in Messages. If Send to Demona is enabled on the Contact form block, enquiries also appear in Demona as sales opportunities.

Delete messages

Delete a single message with Delete on its row. To remove several at once, select the rows — or select the whole page from the header checkbox — then choose Delete selected.

Deletion is permanent: messages are not moved to an archive and cannot be restored. If you need to keep a copy, create an export first; website exports include submitted messages.

Messages can contain personal data. It is worth deleting submissions you no longer need from time to time and reflecting your retention approach in your privacy information.
