Share buttons block

What is the Share buttons block for?

Make sharing effortless when the content genuinely has a natural next audience. The Share buttons block always uses the current page URL. It can make sense on articles, news, events or guides. On a pricing page or contact page, it may simply add noise.

This is not a social feed. The block starts sharing actions for the page the visitor is currently viewing.

Quick share

Icons only

Keep only the channels that are relevant. LinkedIn and Facebook mainly use the current URL and the page's social-sharing metadata.

What can you configure in the Share buttons block?

Channels, accompanying copy and visual style can all be adjusted independently.

Platforms

Choose from X, LinkedIn, Facebook, email and copy link. Remove channels your audience is unlikely to use.

Three styles

Choose Pills, Icons or Compact. Icons shows only symbols; the other two also include labels.

Alignment

Align the block headline and button row left, centre or right.

X / Twitter prefill

X sharing can include a short line of text alongside the current page URL.

Email

Set a custom subject and body. The current page URL is appended automatically to the message.

The Copy action places the current page URL on the clipboard and gives brief confirmation that it worked.

MAKE SHARING EASY

Sharing should be one light action, not another decision wall.

Keep the relevant platforms, choose Pills, Icons or Compact, and use the block only where the content is genuinely worth passing on.
