Hover list with images block

What is the Hover list with images block for?

A list that answers with pictures. A Hover list with images block sets out your services, courses or work in large-type rows. When a visitor points at a row, its picture appears. The list stays clean at first sight, and the pictures show up wherever the visitor is pointing.

It is most striking when the row titles are short, one or two words, and every row has a good picture. Each row can carry up to three labels, such as "beginner" or "weekend".

Three layouts, the same rows

You can switch the layout at any time without rewriting the rows.

Follows the cursor

A row's picture floats after the mouse. Rows show their title and labels; the text is not shown.

Split

A large picture beside the list changes with the row pointed at, with that row's text under it.

Expanding

One row opens at a time, with its picture, text and link. It works the same with touch.

Follows the cursor

Move the pointer over a row and its picture follows it.

Split

Point at a row: the picture and the description beside it change.

Complete on a phone too. On a touch screen or a narrow one there is nothing to point with, so Follows the cursor puts a small picture beside each row, and Split shows every row with its own picture and text. Expanding works the same everywhere.

With the keyboard too. Moving through the rows' links with the Tab key changes the pictures just as the mouse does. Search engines get every row's title and text.

Hover list with images settings: the layout and numbering at the top, the heading and the rows below. The canvas shows each row with its own picture.
